Hey there! I'm Isaac, a founder of fast tribe. I am a workaholic these days and have tried to find the easiest regiment to maintain my general wellness. I want to be sprinting at 80! There are months where I put about 30 minutes spread throughout my day to maintain my health that I believe is hyper effective, all for free. I really want to share with the world and see how people can benefit, if at all, but I'm pretty optimistic. I humbly believe that fasting is also the single most under used tool in the human biological toolbox. Our hunter gatherer ancestors were regularly needing to go multiple days before big meals, and our biology benefits in so many ways!
My fasting journey started by accident when I was dealing with some nasty gut issues. A 4-day fast completely reset my system (turns out I was just really allergic to gluten - whoops!). But that experience sent me down a rabbit hole of fasting research that completely blew my mind.
But it's not just about cancer. During these fasts, your body goes into this amazing cleaning mode called autophagy, where it breaks down old, damaged cells (scientists call them zombie cells - how cool is that?). Plus, you get a boost in brain cells, stem cells, and human growth hormone. It's like hitting the reset button on your body every few months. And it's really fun to bulk after with weight lifting and a lot of protein.
